Are you passionate about pushing software systems to their limits and ensuring they perform flawlessly in critical environments? We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Testing Engineer to join our team and make a tangible impact by driving the performance characterization and optimization of Connext Micro, Cert and TSS products.

In this role, you'll work on performance modeling, workload characterization, and bottleneck analysis to unlock the full potential of our systems. You will leverage your expertise in computer architecture, algorithms, and performance evaluation to develop benchmarks, conduct detailed analyses, and collaborate with teams to solve complex performance challenges.

If you thrive in high-stakes environments where scalability, latency, and system throughput are key to success, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do
  • Design and implement performance testing strategies to identify, analyze, and address system bottlenecks for Micro, Cert and TSS products.
  • Conduct performance modeling and simulations to predict system behavior under varying workloads and scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain performance measurement frameworks and tools tailored for both general and resource-constrained embedded systems.
  • Analyze application usage patterns, resource consumption, and system trends to inform performance improvements.
  • Support platforms and services teams in porting performance software into different Hardware devices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance considerations into the software lifecycle.
  • Publish performance test results, providing stakeholders with clear, actionable insights and visualizations. Publish performance whitepapers.
What We’re Looking For
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, HPC, or related field.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in performance testing, analysis, and optimization for resource-constrained, safety-critical embedded platforms in automotive or aerospace.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a highly distributed team environment.
Nice To Have
  • Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Experience in creating and running benchmarks for system-level and component-level performance measurements.
  • Advanced data analysis skills to identify performance trends, anomalies, and areas for optimization.
