Senior Performance Engineer – Load Testing & System Optimization (Remote)

Join us as a Senior Performance Engineer – Load Testing & System Optimization (Remote) at Cognizant. This is a remote position open nationwide in the United States.

Location: Saint Louis, MO – Remote allowed.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related.
• 10+ years in Performance testing & engineering.
• Proficiency in NeoLoad, LoadRunner, JMeter, Dynatrace, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with Web, Real Browser, Citrix Protocols, and code profiling tools.
• Knowledge of Chaos Engineering & DR testing (preferred).
• Healthcare domain and IVR knowledge (preferred).
• Load Testing in AWS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performance engineering, code profiling, database tuning, and scaling.
• Troubleshooting performance bottlenecks across UI, application, database, network, and messaging layers.
• Use of Application Performance Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk.
• Performance tuning of microservices on Kubernetes and cloud applications in AWS.
• Running tests via CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Creating and executing load, endurance, and scalability tests with NeoLoad, LoadRunner, or JMeter.
• Developing utilities and frameworks; experience with AI/ML/LLM is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits: Salary ranges from $83,250 to $132,000, plus incentives, health benefits, paid leave, 401(k), disability, parental leave, and stock purchase plans. Applications accepted until 06/02/2025.
