Job summary

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our cutting‑edge products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. This is your chance to lead testing initiatives, troubleshoot complex systems, and support a dynamic engineering team in a fast‑paced, innovative setting.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide expert test engineering support across our facilities, guiding fellow test engineers and ensuring testing procedures are efficient and thorough.
  • Develop and troubleshoot test fixtures, software, and procedures, often working down to the component level.
  • Analyze customer requirements to design and implement precise testing protocols.
  • Repair, maintain, and install test fixtures and test PCs, supporting production and engineering teams.
  • Support network and software setups, including VLAN and software configurations.
  • Collaborate across teams to resolve issues quickly, maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Required Skills:
  • Advanced ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Deep knowledge of analog and digital circuitry, electronic testing equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, LCR meters).
  • Expertise in troubleshooting embedded, analog, and digital systems down to the component level.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other drafting tools.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP networking.
  • Strong soldering skills for SMT and through‑hole components.
  • Solid background in PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with prototyping and wire‑boarding systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting.
  • Technical writing experience for documentation and reports.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent work in test engineering, PC hardware, and software testing.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑changing environment.
  • Availability to support occasional travel if necessary.
  • Relevant certifications in electronics or test engineering are a plus.
