Job summary

RTX is seeking a hardware test engineer in Andover, MA to support RF, IF, microwave, analog and digital test activities for missile programs. Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Support test and troubleshooting of RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware for various effectors (missile) programs.
• Work closely with the Operations team and other engineering disciplines including Product Design, Test Development and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Interpreting test requirements, developing and maintaining test procedures, and documenting test practices
• Analyzing data to drive issues to root cause
• Generating Change Requests (CRs) on technical issues relating to the production test process
• Developing and executing improvement projects to increase first pass yield
• Engagement with Design and Test Development teams to solve issues impacting production
• Ensuring hardware requirements are met and processes are followed
• Assisting manufacturing operators in the testing & troubleshooting of production hardware
• Supporting production test on multiple functional test platforms
• Travel as required

Qualifications

You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience. 5+ years of hardware testing experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Masters in Electrical Engineer RF, analog and digital test / troubleshooting skills
• Sound understanding of statistical analysis techniques
• Software skills (Labview, MATLAB, C, Linux) a plus
• Active SECRET Clearance

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
