Job Summary
Sr. Technology Product Manager – responsible for establishing long‑term vision and strategy of Vistra products or value streams, collaborating with stakeholders to define needs, develop product vision, roadmap, and features, for products valued $5MM+.
Key Accountabilities
- Meet technology and business goals and ensure products and solutions achieve economic business targets.
- Develop a clear model of how the solution provides value to stakeholders.
- Understand cost structures and license models of all components and suppliers.
- Create and manage necessary pricing and revenue‑generating elements.
- Develop and manage measurement models (e.g., ROI, NPS) to communicate business and technical value.
- Monitor market conditions and competitive landscape to identify issues impacting the product pipeline and value.
- Collaborate and facilitate with development and business teams to build required functionality.
- Understand stakeholder needs.
- Own and champion prioritization of work.
- Ensure product completeness and quality.
- Champion development and communication of product vision and roadmap.
- Define releases and program increments.
- Ensure product alignment with technology standards (architecture, delivery, security, compliance, etc.).
- Participate in and drive demos.
- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to deploy solutions and drive adoption.
- Leverage support to ensure products are maintained and enhanced for continuous value delivery while adhering to future‑state architecture principles.
- Manage the end‑to‑end development of product strategies and execution across cross‑functional teams from initiation to launch.
Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with project management, agile practices, and/or product owner techniques.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills for enterprise‑wide initiatives with strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills.
- Working knowledge of technology best practices, methodologies and processes (e.g., ISO 9000, ITIL, CMM, SDLC).
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with business and technology stakeholders and management.
- Utilize evidence‑based decision making to communicate with stakeholders and development teams.
- Balance business growth with necessary technology processes and procedures.
- Energetic, hands‑on, enthusiastic, results‑oriented team player capable of adding significant value and implementing strategic solutions.
- High level of integrity and proven track record of success with a collaborative and participative management style.
- Ability to translate concepts into viable products or business solutions.
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable.
