About this role:

This position is for a senior Engineering Services and Support technician who is under general supervision. Performs basic to moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. Collaborates with higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results. May assist in orienting, training, and assigning work of technical/business support employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results
• To analyze testing data to ensure proper unit performance
• To understand unit operation and provide feedback to engineers on potential modifications
• To maintain a clean and safe environment
• Works under moderate supervision to provide technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering tasks.
• Performs basic to moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Reviews illustration of workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, or machine utilization.
• Operates, inspects and maintains test setups and equipment to detect malfunctions.
• Conducts basic to moderately complex materials test and analysis.
• Collaborates with higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years’ experience technical trade

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be able to create new and modify existing electromechanical assemblies
• Must be able to instrument and create config files for testing
• Performs basic to moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects
• Works under moderate supervision to provide technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering tasks
