Job summary

LG Electronics in Clarksville, TN is seeking an experienced EPS Operator for night shifts. The role involves operating production equipment, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring product quality. Mentoring fellow operators and contributing to training materials are key parts of the job.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in EPS operation, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication. Some travel and bilingual Korean-English ability are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Over 5 years EPS operation experience preferred.
• Experience mentoring/coaching Press Operators.
• Understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and evaluate problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies.
• Some international travel may be required.
• Korean-English bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train EPS Operators on equipment and processes.
• Assist EPS Operators in diagnosing mechanical problems and correction.
• Identify training and development needs via conversations and observation.
• Assist in reviewing EPS Operator performance.
• Assist in updating EPS training manuals.
• Visually inspect production for defects per standards.
• Monitor products for quality issues.
• Achieve daily performance targets.
• Operate machinery and adjust to meet specs.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machinery/equipment.
• Move materials to machines safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for trainingEPSOperators on equipment and processes
• AssistsEPSOperators in diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct
• Identify training and development needs through regular conversation and observation
• Assists Manager with reviewingEPSOperator performance
• Assists in the development and update of EPS training manuals
• Responsible for visual inspection of production for defects based on Standard
• Monitor product for any quality issues
• Achieve established daily performance target
• Operate machinery, and make necessary changes to ensure product specifications are met
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Get the proper material to the required machinery in a safe and efficient manner

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Over 5 yearsEPS Operation experience preferred
• Experience in mentoring and/or coaching Press Operators
• Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements
• Ability to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.
• Some occasional international travel required
• Bilingual Korean-English preferred
