SNC is seeking a Sr Technical Trainer to lead a local training team responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training for technicians in the FAA Part 145 MRO environment. You will collaborate across Operations, Quality, Safety, and Digital Systems to ensure training aligns with QMS and regulatory requirements.
You will oversee content creation, on-site and remote sessions, and ongoing program evaluation, using data-driven insights to improve proficiency, compliance, and safety.
The Sr Technical Trainer leads and mentors a local technical training team responsible for developing, delivering, and sustaining high‑quality training for new and existing technicians working within the FAA Part 145 Repair Station/MRO environment. This role partners closely with key stakeholders across Operations, Quality, Safety, Digital Systems, and Program leadership to ensure all training activities align with SNC's Quality Management System (QMS), regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities.
The Sr Technical Trainer oversees the creation, coordination, and evaluation of technical, role‑specific, digital‑system, and compliance training-ensuring instruction meets required standards and supports technician proficiency, job qualification, and continuous improvement. This position maintains clear and proactive communication with leadership, providing status updates, identifying trends, and recommending improvements through data‑driven insights. Additionally, the role ensures that all training-whether instructor‑led, hands‑on/OJT, or digitally delivered‑is executed with consistency, accuracy, and safety, reinforcing a strong learning culture that supports reliable performance, regulatory adherence, and operational excellence.
