Position Summary:
The Sr. Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) for Single Use Technologies is a role within the sales organization of the BioProduction Group. This role will actively handle funnel opportunities for near-term revenue gains and develop new opportunities to build a strong pipeline for future growth, while maintaining current business relationships and organic growth. The individual will apply their sales experience, bioproduction process knowledge, product expertise, market intelligence, and territory leadership skills to grow sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Search for new opportunities and use the product portfolio to build a foundation for long-term growth.
- Drive existing funnel opportunities to accelerate closure rates.
- Apply intelligence-based prospecting to identify new potential opportunities.
- Prioritize New Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within the territory to improve adoption rates and revenue.
- Act on marketing-qualified leads, quickly converting them into new opportunities.
- Collaborate with and influence BioProduction Account Managers (BAMs) and Field Application Specialists (FAS) to develop and lead account growth strategies.
- Assist BioProduction Account Managers with sales and account planning to achieve sales goals.
- Develop technical solutions for complex opportunities.
- Attend technical visits to manufacturing and R&D sites.
- Maintain and improve technical knowledge on assigned product lines and company literature.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a life sciences-related field (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering).
- 5+ years of sales or customer-facing experience related to bioproduction processes.
- Experience with Single Use Technologies preferred.
- Ability to interact cross-functionally across all organizational levels.
- Good judgment and tact in dealing with customers.
- Strong understanding of customer challenges and solution development.
