Job: Sr. Technical Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Remote in USA

Company: Mid-sized Edtech ($100M)

Type: 12- month CONTRACT.{May evolve into an FTE role after 12-months}

Compensation: $45-65hr. 40 hours per week.

NOTE: You MUST have prior recruiting experience hiring Engineers and Information Technology resources. This client is only looking for a technical, technical recruiter.

Job Summary:

The Remote Technical Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top IT professionals to support our client’s diverse technology stack. This role requires a deep understanding of IT roles, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build strong candidate pipelines for highly technical positions. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and ensure a seamless recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough screenings, technical assessments, and interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create detailed job descriptions, and align on candidate profiles.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and a streamlined hiring process.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on IT industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices to attract top talent.
  • Data & Reporting: Track recruitment metrics, provide regular updates to leadership, and leverage data to optimize hiring strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven ability to source and hire candidates for highly technical roles in a competitive market.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Greenhouse).
  • Strong understanding of IT terminology, SDLC, and modern technology stacks.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise data systems.
  • Experience recruiting for cybersecurity and project management roles.
