Job summary

Matlen Silver in Raleigh-Durham is seeking a Sr. Technical Project/Program Manager to coordinate high‑complexity projects, lead multiple efforts, and ensure alignment with partner deliverables.

You will manage resources across delivery partners within approved hours and scope, and mentor team members in a heavily matrixed environment to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Healthcare/insurance/benefits domain experience.
• 5-8 years of experience.
• Experience & Scope, Leadership (Critical).
• Stakeholder Management (Mandatory).

Responsibilities

Job Title:Sr. Technical Project/Program Manager

Duration:1 year contract

Location:Raleigh-Durham, NC (Remote but need to be in Raleigh/Durham area to come in every once in a while)

NO C2C, ONLY W2 ***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates***

Job Summary

• Serve as technical coordination point for projects and initiatives of high complexity and may lead multiple projects concurrently.
• Accountable for ensuring that deliverables from business and technology partners are produced and approved according to multiple project schedules.
• Accountable for managing allocated resources from multiple delivery partners while working within approved hours and scope.
• Mentors and provides feedback to team members to create a highly functioning team in a heavily matrixed environment.

Must Haves

• Healthcare, health plan, payer, insurance, TPA, PBM, claims, enrollment, or benefits administration experience
• 5-8 years of experience
• Experience & Scope, Leadership (Critical)
• Stakeholder Management (Mandatory)
• Cross-Functional Leadership (Mandatory)

Desired Skills

• Led system implementations or business transformation programs
• Experience leading governance forums, steering committees, or executive reporting
