Check out more information about Prime Air on the About Amazon blog (https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/transportation/amazon-prime-air-drone-delivery-mk30-photos).

Come work on the Amazon Prime Air Team!

Key job responsibilities
  • Architect the World & Missions: Drive the technical program lifecycle for systems responsible for building comprehensive world models, mission planning engines, and dynamic airspace environments. You will ensure our drones navigate a rich, real-time representation of the physical and regulatory world.
  • Scale for Global Expansion: As we expand operations to numerous new sites globally, you will own the program strategy for scaling these systems. You will ensure our software architectures, data pipelines, and deployment frameworks can seamlessly handle a massive multi-site footprint without compromising reliability or safety.
  • Drive Technology Roadmaps: Look around corners to define, influence, and execute 3-to-5-year technology roadmaps. You will collaborate closely with Applied Science, Software Engineering, and Hardware teams to align cross-functional technical dependencies and pioneer next-generation autonomous capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with top-notch developers, systems engineers, safety, and security teams to translate complex technical challenges into execution-ready milestones. You will synthesize ambiguous inputs into crisp technical requirements and drive execution with high ownership.
A day in the life

On a typical day, a Senior TPM bridges high-level strategy and deep technical execution. You’ll kick off by aligning cross-functional tech roadmaps with engineering leaders, unblocking a mission-planning bottleneck, and refining architecture to support our next ten operational sites. Later, you’ll dive deep with software teams into world-model data pipelines, translate regulatory safety requirements into crisp engineering milestones, and write a strategic document updating leadership on global scaling milestones.
