The Sr. Technical Program Manager will lead complex technical programs spanning hardware, software, manufacturing, testing, and robot deployment.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, manufacturing, and operations, ensuring teams remain aligned from concept through production and deployment.
You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, embedded, systems, and operational functions to deliver ambitious robotics initiatives.
The position combines strategic program planning with hands‑on execution, requiring a deep understanding of technical systems and development processes.
You will identify risks and bottlenecks, improve workflows, and establish scalable processes that accelerate product development and robot upgrades.
The role offers the opportunity to influence how advanced autonomous systems move from engineering concepts into reliable, real‑world products.
Success requires strong technical judgment, exceptional communication, cross‑functional leadership, and a consistent focus on delivering results.

Accountabilities:
  • Define program scope, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies for hardware and software initiatives, including robot feature development, upgrades, and new product programs.
  • Lead cross‑functional execution across mechanical, electrical, embedded, systems, software, product, manufacturing, operations, and business teams.
  • Gather requirements, establish priorities, align stakeholders, and ensure teams remain focused on shared program objectives.
  • Drive programs from planning through execution, identifying dependencies, resolving blockers, and ensuring key deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate technical handoffs between engineering, manufacturing, testing, and operations to support efficient delivery of components, robots, and software.
  • Develop and implement program management processes that improve organizational efficiency, execution quality, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Help teams establish and execute effective sprint structures, ensuring work is prioritized, tracked, and aligned with broader program milestones.
  • Review existing workflows and processes, identify opportunities for optimization, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across technical and business stakeholders, providing timely visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical and program documentation, including specifications, roadmaps, project plans, status reports, and other materials required for accountability and transparency.
  • Support initiatives related to robot upgrades, product development processes, manufacturing readiness, and new feature introduction.
  • Build strong working relationships with senior leaders and engineering teams, facilitating alignment and effective decision‑making across functions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another relevant engineering discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in engineering program management or technical program management.
  • 3–5 years of experience working with hardware, systems, autonomous systems, or comparable product development processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross‑functional programs and successfully deliver product features in a production environment.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear information for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships with senior leaders, engineers, product teams, operations teams, and other cross‑functional partners.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, timelines, and risks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide concise, well‑structured updates tailored to different audiences.
  • Ability to maintain a strategic view of broader business and product objectives while remaining attentive to technical and operational details.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to problem‑solving, process improvement, and program execution.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Preferred: Experience working with robotics or autonomous systems, particularly products operating in public environments.
