Job summary

NXP Semiconductors seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst to drive the external search engine for nxp.com and transform its AI-powered search experience.

You will lead global IT projects with a DevOps mindset, work with GSM IT, and collaborate with vendors to deliver customer-ready search solutions leveraging SaaS, cloud services, and custom development.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a technical field and relevant project management experience.
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst and IT project management, preferably with enterprise search or AI/ML platforms.
• Strong understanding of search technologies (e.g., Elastic) and AI/ML concepts including GenAI/LLMs.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with distributed teams across regions.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Transformation projects using Scaled Agile, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Partner with business and IT to define, prepare, and execute projects and change programs.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and design high-level functional flows.
• Develop project plans, risk mitigation, and coordinate deployment with release teams.

Senior Technical Business Analyst – AI Search & Digital Experience

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to drive the implementation of our next-generation external search engine for NXP.com. This role is crucial in leading the transformation of the customer search experience leveraging advanced search technologies to improve product discoverability and support our customers and partners in finding the right information quickly and efficiently.

• GSM IT works with vendor partners including software developers and project leads to design and implement easy to use, customer-ready solutions leveraging SaaS, cloud services and custom development where needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Global Sales & Marketing IT Digital Transformation projects using Scaled Agile in a fast-paced environment ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Collaborate and partner with business and IT in defining, preparing and executing projects and change programs
• Gather and analyze business requirements
• Understand the needs of the business on a strategic and operational level
• Develop overall project plans and approach in collaboration with the business team
• Develop high-level functional design and create business workflows and user flows as needed
• Analyze varying solutions and recommend strategy with an eye on automation, AI/ML, functionality, cost, technology and value as appropriate
• Mitigate risks and address project obstacles as needed
• Drive implementation with the onshore/offshore software development team
• Effectively engage and communicate with project team, management, project stakeholders and business team to share project status and identification/resolution of any project issues
• Conduct IT acceptance testing and coordinate testing with users
• Coordinate project deployment with the release management team
• May be responsible for sourcing, negotiations and managing outside vendors
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for optimizing content for improved search results and user engagement.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to search effectiveness, user satisfaction, and impact on lead generation and customer support efficiency.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• BS or MS degree in Project Management, Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and IT project management, preferably with enterprise search or AI/ML-driven platforms.
• Strong understanding of search technologies (e.g., Elastic), semantic search concepts and AI/ML concepts including GenAI and LLMs.
• Excellent communication with good presentation skills and ability to work with a geographically dispersed, multi-cultural team
• Strong knowledge of software development fundamentals crossing all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements, analysis, design, prototyping, development, testing, implementation
• Experience using Agile methodologies and familiarity with Agile project management tools (Jira, Service Now)
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principals, particularly in sales and marketing applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on enhancing digital user experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts applied to search optimization
• Knowledge of semiconductor industry terminology, products, and customer needs
• Understanding of accessibility standards and their application to search interfaces
