Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX, seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst to drive the external search engine initiative for NXP.com. You will lead Agile projects, gather requirements, and align business and IT to deliver AI-powered search improvements that boost product discoverability and user satisfaction.

The role collaborates with Global Sales and Marketing IT, with onshore/offshore teams, and requires strong communication, analytics, and AI/ML knowledge to optimize search capabilities

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Project Management, Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and IT project management.
• Strong knowledge of search technologies (Elastic) and AI/ML concepts (GenAI/LLMs).
• Excellent communication with a geographically dispersed, multi-cultural team.
• Experience using Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira/ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with UX design principles in sales/marketing applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage Global Sales & Marketing IT Digital Transformation projects using Scaled Agile in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with business and IT to define, prepare and execute projects and change programs.
• Gather and analyze business requirements.
• Understand business needs on strategic and operational levels.
• Develop overall project plans and approach with the business team.
• Create high-level functional design and user workflows as needed.
• Analyze solutions and recommend strategy focusing on automation, AI/ML, cost and value.
• Mitigate risks and address project obstacles; drive implementation with onshore/offshore teams.
• Engage stakeholders and communicate project status and issues.
• Coordinate IT acceptance testing and release management activities.
• Possibly source and manage outside vendors.
• Collaborate with marketing to optimize content for better search results and user engagement.
• Monitor KPIs related to search effectiveness and customer impact.
