Databricks is seeking a Sr. Revenue Accountant to join our team! You will report to the Manager of Revenue Accounting, supporting the month-end close process. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, validating usage calculations for prepaid commitments, and preparing internal reports for the Financial Planning & Analysis and General Ledger Accounting teams. The ideal candidate is a team player, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a solid understanding of complex revenue accounting principles.

The Impact You Will Have

• Ensure proper application of ASC 606 to customer contracts, including assessing for non-standard terms and documenting accounting conclusions.
• Perform monthly accounting close activities such as usage review, journal entries, flux analyses, account reconciliations, and analytics.
• Support financial reporting by preparing metrics, disclosures, and ad hoc management requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement systematic processes and automation for scalability and new initiatives.
• Assist in the audit process by preparing schedules, documenting controls, participating in walkthroughs, and liaising with auditors.
• Drive process improvements to accelerate the monthly close cycle.

What We Look For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting.
• Ability to operate independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
• Operational experience in a growing SaaS company, including activities in quote-to-cash processes.
• Proficiency with Excel, NetSuite, and Salesforce; SQL experience is a plus.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair compensation. The pay range for this role is $114,800—$176,000 USD, based on factors like skills, experience, and location. Total compensation may include bonuses, equity, and benefits. For more details, visit our benefits page.
