Maintenance Technicians solve problems every day. When a machine breaks that is critical to the success of a program, Maintenance Technicians come and save the day. Working alongside Maintenance and Production Supervisors, they ensure that a product can be completed that will meet a customer’s standards.

What You Will Do
  • Under direction of Leader/Supervisor follow specific instructions and standard trade practices to obtain tools, material and equipment for carrying out work assignments on electro‑mechanical systems, control devices and related equipment
  • Perform component installation, system maintenance and repair work as assigned and carry out preventive maintenance and service as required
  • Assist others responsible for complex installation, overhaul and repair projects in preparing materials and operating equipment
  • Perform similar duties throughout the facility
  • Assist others working on joint projects where common skill crossover provides the opportunity for shared responsibilities and more effective use of available skills
  • Daily work area clean up
  • Prompt reporting of malfunctioning equipment and machines
  • Working within EH&S guidelines as defined by UTC and OSHA
  • Training, obtaining, and maintaining licenses, operator permits, and certifications (as necessary)
  • Participation in Company and Department sponsored EH&S and Quality initiatives
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
