Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG is seeking a Senior Production Team Leader for the Princeton, NJ area. You will lead the 3rd shift, ensure safe, compliant production, and maintain efficient workflows. You may step in as an operator to sustain continuity and quickly address downtime and process issues.

You’ll supervise staff, manage LOTOTO, verify cleaning and documentation, and create shift labels as needed. A hands‑on leadership role in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-5 years related experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Supervisory experience preferred and cGMP/SOP knowledge.
• Ability to stand 60–90% of the day and work on a fast-paced shift.

Senior Production Team Leader (3rd Shift)

As the Senior Production Team Leader, you will lead all shift operations, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies. The role requires a deep understanding of equipment and processes to quickly identify issues, reduce downtime, and keep workflows organized and on track. You’ll oversee LOTOTO (Lockout, Tagout, and Tryout) procedures, verify cleaning and documentation accuracy, and even step in as an operator when needed to maintain continuity. It’s a hands‑on leadership role built for someone who can balance supervision, problem‑solving, and operational execution in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Supervises all personnel and operations on the shift.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
• Reports any process and equipment problems, as well as tracks and works to eliminate all sources of downtime.
• Organizes work for smooth operations.
• Supervises and manages the LOTOTO process as needed throughout the shift.
• Create labels for operations throughout the shift as needed.

You bring

• High school graduate, or equivalent.
• 2-5 years related experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMPs, SOPs, safety protocols.
• Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Ability to be on your feet 60% - 90% of the day

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $35-$40.

In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
