Role Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements to identify book vs. tax adjustments.
- Prepare federal and state corporate income tax workpapers.
- Assist with federal income tax return consolidation and review of S Corporation and partnership returns.
- Prepare quarterly taxable income calculations for estimated tax deposits.
- Review international tax packages prepared by local controllers.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and income tax audits.
- Contribute to tax provision preparation in accordance with ASC 740.
- Engage in scenario planning and modeling for business expansion or restructuring.
- Research tax issues and draft memoranda.
Candidate Background
- Solid foundation in U.S. corporate and partnership federal income tax issues.
- 3-4 years of public accounting or in-house corporate tax experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to participate in ad-hoc planning projects.
