Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner to deliver full life cycle recruiting for DoD/engineering roles in a high-volume environment. This role supports our Air Force Weapons Business Unit and partners with hiring managers to build a diverse talent pool.

Based at our Torch site in Florida, the position requires US citizenship, a BS in HR or related field, 5+ years of TA experience, and strong ATS experience; travel up to 10% may be needed.

• Experience in DoD/engineering environments preferred.

This role supports full life cycle recruitment of functional positions. The successful candidate will have experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment with demonstrated expertise in sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing, and closing candidates. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner will support our Air Force Weapons Business Unit, to provide consultative guidance to hiring managers and candidates throughout the selection process. This position will be based in Shalimar, FL.**As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:**• Provides full life cycle recruiting to include screening, qualifying, interviewing and managing candidate relationships while advising hiring managers through the assessment and selection process.• Provides recruiting and sourcing strategies and adapts to new recruiting technologies and online tools.• Ensures compliance with established recruiting processes and standards and manages key metrics and reports.• Demonstrates agility and manages competing demands in an ever-changing business environment.• Effectively consults and partners with hiring managers and program leaders to understand their talent needs and build and implement a talent/workforce plan.• Develops and implements creative and effective recruiting strategies to attract a qualified and diverse talent pool.• Accurately assess candidates for cultural, competency and skill fit, quickly synthesize candidate and hiring manager feedback, and routinely pre-close candidates to ensure high acceptance rates.• Quickly assimilates technical information and operates with financial responsibility.• Influences hiring managers, executives, candidates, and peers by developing trusting relationships.• Apply knowledge of compensation guidelines and practices to conduct salary analysis and prepare salary offer recommendations.• Routinely leverages metrics to advise managers, improve processes, and/or self-assess performance.• Demonstrates uncompromising ethical standards, integrity and respect for people,• Proactively collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team, HR business partners, and Onboarding Specialists to ensure a smooth interview and onboarding experience for candidates**Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner:**• US Citizenship.• BS Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field OR equivalent experience.• 5+ years’ related experience in talent acquisition/recruiting or sourcing for qualified candidates; in a DoW or Engineering environment preferred.• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and/or other Human Resources Management software.• Familiarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databases.• Ability to participate as a team member and/or promote and develop teamwork.• Achieves staffing objectives by attracting, evaluating, and recruiting candidates while partnering with the hiring managers.• Strong process-oriented mindset.• Willingness to develop in the areas of talent acquisition/recruitment, HR processes, business partners, hiring managers, TA team members.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge).• Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously.• Self-starter with strong initiative.**Preferred Qualifications:**• Prior experience in talent acquisition within DoW.• Prior experience with Workday applicant tracking system.**Schedule:** M-F; 8-5**Work Location:** Torch- site.**Travel:** Yes,0-10%**Relocation Assistance Available:** No**Position Contingent Upon Award of Contract:** No#LI-TS1 **Benefits:**Torch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.**Applying to Torch Technologies:**Only those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
