Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, implement, and test a hardware-in-the-loop THAAD simulation program. The role requires collaboration with a team to maintain software and build new capabilities, including modernization to GPU processing.

The ideal candidate will have extensive C/C++ experience, real-time development skills, and a strong background in Linux environments, with the ability to obtain a security clearance and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years progressively complex software design engineering experience.
• 20+ years experience in C/C++ software development.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux development environment.
• Strong Git repository skills for configuration management.
• Experience with HWIL development alongside OEMs.
• Experience with optimizing software for different hardware platforms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Candidates may be required to travel for a small portion of each year during Flight tests and other travel activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both oral and written; exhibit the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, customer focused work environment.
