Job summary

SidRamTechnologies is hiring a Systems Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer for a remote, 12-month engagement with WWT. This W2/C2C contract requires USC/H4EAD work authorization and offers remote work.

You will monitor dashboards, troubleshoot infrastructure, deploy and automate Linux environments, and coordinate with DCOPS. Strong Ubuntu/Debian experience and hardware skills are required or preferred, with Kubernetes familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering Ubuntu/Debian Linux servers in production.
• Strong experience troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading diverse hardware.
• Proficiency with hardware diagnostics, BIOS/UEFI, POST error logs.
• Knowledge of PXE Boot, DCIM, Prometheus, LibreNMS, Grafana, Linux.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle day-to-day operational tasks.
• Triage hardware errors and coordinate RMAs with DCOPS.
• Monitor dashboards and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders.
• Participate in automated and repetitive datacenter site build-out activities.
• Deploy, automate, and support large-scale Linux infrastructure.
• Support datacenter facility networks and cross-functional shared services.
• Work autonomously and make sound technical decisions.
