As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will serve as the visionary architect of our sophisticated technical frameworks. Your role is critical, ensuring the flawless integration, validation, and optimization of complex systems from concept to completion. You will lead efforts to harmonize system components, balancing cost, risk, and supportability to deliver exceptional solutions. Your expertise will translate product requirements into cohesive systems solutions that meet technical, schedule, and budgetary demands. You will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and map requirements to solutions, transforming ideas into software innovations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. System Design & Integration:
2. Lead deployment of products and engineering solutions that transform manual processes into automated systems.
3. Design, integrate, and validate complex systems, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
4. Develop strategies to optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Technical Leadership:

1. Serve as the technical lead, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve milestones.
2. Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation.

Analysis & Problem Solving:

1. Conduct functional, timeline, and trade studies for system evaluation.
2. Address complex problems with creative solutions, using independent judgment.

Program Management:

1. Collaborate with project managers across the product lifecycle, ensuring technical, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
2. Manage stakeholder relationships to facilitate project success.
3. Leverage AI to drive innovation and enhance decision-making.
4. Develop principles and concepts integrating AI into system solutions.
5. Seek opportunities to implement AI for system optimization and automation.

Mandatory Expectations:

• Complete assigned training requirements by deadlines.

Competencies:

Knowledge: Experience in clinical research or healthcare, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), interoperability between clinical systems, advanced engineering principles.

Skills: Analytical/problem-solving skills, leadership, communication, proficiency in Veeva Systems, system design tools, and software methodologies.

Abilities: Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate effectively, and drive innovation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
• 7+ years of experience leading complex systems projects.
• Strong engineering knowledge, analytical skills, leadership, and proficiency in system design.
