Job description

DPG Solutions LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer in the Space Systems Mission Management domain, supporting a premier program within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. Your expertise in requirements, architecture and design elaboration, system engineering analyses, script development, interface definition and control, and verification and validation will be highly valued. This is an on-site role located in Richardson, TX.

What You Will Do:
  1. Provide technical analyses and define system functionalities by creating use cases.
  2. Decompose requirements, define system interfaces, and assist in determining how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team.
  3. Support the execution of the program's test plan, including test processes, baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation.
  4. Assist with regression testing across deliverable releases to maintain the program baseline.
  5. Participate in technical reviews and technical interchanges to support the program.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
  • Experience across the Systems Engineering lifecycle, including Concept of Operations (ConOps) development, requirements management, functional analysis, interface control, and verification and validation.
  • Development experience on government contracts, with a focus on systems integration and testing in a CI/CD environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile principles, systems engineering practices, and Agile roles.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Development experience in mission management ground systems or space-based ISR platforms.
  • Experience with Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
  • Proficiency with MBSE tools like Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
  • Experience in automated testing and scripting in Python or Perl.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
