Job summary

Dave & Buster's seeks a Sr Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Windows-based systems on Nutanix hardware with strong networking experience. You will support on-prem and cloud (Azure) environments, manage certificates, and collaborate across teams to meet business needs.

The role requires extensive Windows server administration, Hyper-V clustering, AD/DNS/DHCP expertise, and a willingness to be on-call 24/7.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in server administration and/or engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering focusing on Windows OS, Nutanix HW, networking, and HCI.
• Strong technical skills in systems design, implementation, and maintenance for Windows OS, Nutanix HW, networking, and HCI.
• Microsoft Azure IAAS and PAAS experience.
• Experience with Server OS 2012R2, 2016, 2019 and 2022.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft HyperV 2012R2-2019 clustering and replication.
• Experience with SFTP across different platforms.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell; Python.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Systems Engineer to join our IT team. The Sr Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure using exclusively Windows OS on physical servers and Nutanix HW, with networking experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Windows OS, Nutanix hardware, and networking, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation to handle off-hour issues.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation to handle off-hour issues.
