We are hiring a Sr. Systems Architect/Engineer in Fort Meade, MD

Position location is flexible and may change based on client needs.

Role Overview:

As a Systems Engineer, you will support a major enterprise-wide engineering contract within the Intelligence Community. This full-time role requires 1880 hours annually, with work performed at the customer site. You will support a DoD customer, liaise with program personnel, clients, and senior leadership, and ensure the technical integrity and quality of work related to model-based systems engineering and architecture, among other duties.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform systems engineering activities and prepare work products using Cameo.
2. Develop innovative approaches to technical challenges.
3. Create sections of systems engineering documentation, including diagrams, descriptions, and interfaces in Cameo.
4. Ensure system requirements and derived requirements are accurately represented and compatible with system architectures such as DoDAF and Service-oriented Architecture.
5. Coordinate cross-disciplinary actions with customers, team members, and partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field, plus at least 10 years of systems engineering experience. Advanced degrees can substitute for experience (Master’s or PhD for 2 years). High school diploma or GED with 14 years of experience is also acceptable.
• Must hold TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Desired Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with Cameo tool is preferred.
