Sr. Systems Analyst – Job Description
Our client has an opportunity to join their team as a Senior Systems Analyst in our workflow automation group, focused on evolving and supporting the platforms that power our business operations.

You’ll be embedded in a collaborative product team, working closely with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and external vendors to turn business needs into smart, scalable solutions. What You’ll Do

• Translate high-level business needs into clear technical requirements, specs, and user stories.
• Configure systems and automate workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual overhead.
• Partner across engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure shared understanding and delivery success.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and occasionally rotate as Scrum Master.
• Analyze current state processes and recommend improvements grounded in system architecture.
• Support defect triage and work with dev teams to resolve root issues sustainably.
• Configure and manage third party platforms or SaaS tool, ensuring they align with business workflows and system architecture.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or solution design.
• Strong ability to translate between business needs and technical requirements.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL, APIs (JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger), and process modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Lucidchart, Excel, and Agile work tracking (ADO, Jira).
• Comfortable navigating both legacy and cloud-based systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance or financial services.
• Familiarity with low-code tools or workflow automation platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps culture, BDD practices, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with automated workflow systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Pipefy, Nintex) is a strong bonus.

Target salary for this position is $120k to $122k
