• Hands‑on experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure infrastructure beyond basic VM provisioning.
• Exposure to Azure technologies including: Azure Arc, Azure Application Gateways, Azure networking and connectivity, RBAC, NSGs.
• Experience supporting hybrid on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.
• PowerShell scripting experience for systems administration and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows servers, infrastructure, and networking.
• Experience with production environments and on‑call rotations.
• Python scripting experience.
• Experience in government or regulated environments and familiarity with CMMC compliance.
• Experience with enterprise content management, policy management, or SFTP platforms.
• Background in network administration or infrastructure engineering.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join one of our clients in the Houston area. This individual will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a hybrid infrastructure environment consisting of on-premises Windows servers and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows systems administration, hands‑on Azure infrastructure experience, and proficiency with PowerShell scripting. This person must have experience beyond basic virtual machine provisioning, including exposure to Azure networking, access management, and infrastructure services.

In addition to daily systems administration responsibilities, this individual will work closely with an existing administrator to learn and support the server infrastructure behind several business‑critical applications within a government environment. The client understands there will be a learning curve and is looking for someone who is technically capable, eager to learn, and comfortable taking ownership of unfamiliar systems.

Skills and Requirements

• Extensive Windows Systems Administration experience


• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.


• Hands‑on experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure infrastructure, beyond basic VM provisioning.


• Experience with exposure to Azure technologies, including:Azure ArcAzure Application GatewaysAzure networking and connectivityRole‑Based Access Control (RBAC)Network Security Groups (NSGs)


• Experience supporting hybrid environments consisting of on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience supporting production environments and willingness to participate in on‑call rotations.


• Python scripting experience

• Familiarity with CMMC compliance requirements.


• Experience supporting servers associated with enterprise content management, policy management, or SFTP platforms.


• Previous exposure to Livelink, ETQ, or Typeworks.


• Background in network administration or infrastructure engineering.
