CONMED is seeking a CNC Senior Machinist to focus on Swiss machines in a PMO Factory. You will set up and operate 4- to 5-axis mills and Swiss lathes, maintaining zero-defect output for precision medical device parts.
The role emphasizes validating new set-ups, in-process inspection, and coaching peers. Strong G-code skills and experience with live tooling are required to meet tight tolerances.
As a Senior Machinist, you will have the opportunity to utilize mills, lathes, mill-turns, and Swiss machines (among others) to produce close-tolerance parts for our medical products. Primary job function will be the operation of Swiss-centered machinery. A major area of responsibility for this role will be the set-up and operation of a variety of production machinery to produce close-tolerance precision medical device parts, with an emphasis on verifying and validating new set-ups for production and first piece runs.
