Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking a Sr. Supply Distribution Technician for our ED to assist with linen and supply put away!

Rotating Schedule: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Oversees daily management of medical materials, including supplies, equipment, and linens across multiple departments. Responsibilities include organizing supply rooms, customer service, reviewing par levels, optimizing bins, ordering, receiving, stocking, and assisting with recalls and investigations. Mentors new technicians and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Apply lean supply principles and perform basic analytics using Microsoft tools and supply chain systems.
  • Receive and verify materials, process receipts, and manage inventory records.
  • Review reports, collaborate with staff to adjust par levels, and support process improvements.
  • Process orders, resolve discrepancies, and manage recalls and returns.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness in supply areas, complying with standards.
Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

  • None required
Preferred Requirements

Education

  • Associate's Degree in Management or Logistics

Experience
