Job Description

Focus Areas:

1. Interpret clinical study protocols and dosing schemas, translating information into IMP demand and supply planning, distribution strategies, and depot inventory management.
2. Perform demand and supply forecasting with a planning horizon of 9 to 18 months, translating forecasts into clinical packaging and labeling (CPL) execution plans. Support contract reviews, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliations.
3. Develop and implement depot and clinical site seeding and resupply strategies.
4. Execute operational and logistics strategies, collaborating with Quality Assurance and other functions to ensure timely, safe delivery of clinical shipments.
5. Work with logistics management, GCSC, PDM, and external partners to resolve shipping issues, escalating as necessary.
6. Support clinical development and PDM strategies, working with GCSC, Quality, and other teams to deliver compliant, quality IMP to global clinical trials on time.
7. Maintain accurate inventory records at depots through timely reconciliation.
8. Monitor clinical supply incidents, report issues, investigate root causes, and escalate as needed.
9. Utilize Gilead systems (e.g., SAP, IVRS, QMS) to facilitate compliant, efficient supply chain processes.
10. Author SOPs and work instructions as directed by leadership.
11. Support regulatory filings and inspections.
12. Ensure compliance of clinical supply deliverables for CSR and TMF documentation.
13. Report and analyze shipment incidents, assisting in CAPA creation.
14. Maintain GDP, GMP, and global trade compliance, including required training.
15. Review quotes, approve purchase requisitions, and invoices.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of industry experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degrees in sciences preferred.
• Experience in clinical supply management, forecasting, demand/supply planning, distribution strategies, IVRS, and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of clinical study designs, blinding, and global trial phases.
• Experience with Clinical Demand and Operations Planning (CD&OP).
• Experience managing comparator drugs and co-meds.
• Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and implement best options aligned with core values.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong computer skills and system adoption ability.
• Project management skills; managing resources and timelines for complex studies is a plus.

The salary range for this position is: $107,185.00 - $138,710.00. Compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, and location.
