Sr IT Architect for Honeywell International, Inc. (Charlotte, NC)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Participate in technology design and integration efforts with engineering and support teams.
2. Understand PAAS, IAAS, SAAS on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
3. Expertise in multi-tier application traffic flow, DNS global load balancing, routing, switching, IP subnetting, Wireshark trace interpretation.
4. Create network plans, ensure technology interoperability, document network infrastructure, maintain relationships with solution providers, and provide last-tier troubleshooting/support.
5. Transform legacy services to modern solutions using software-defined networks, virtualization, automation, orchestration, segmentation, and edge intelligence.
6. Design, develop, and deploy network solutions that meet cybersecurity, compliance, and regulatory standards.
7. Architect and implement highly available and cost-efficient solutions.
8. Drive network optimization and automation; assist operations with rollout and upgrade plans.
9. Provide expert advice during 'Go-Live' activities for new deployments.
10. Participate in large-scale projects, including product development, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, focusing on delivering business outcomes.
11. Act as a trusted advisor to businesses, internal teams, partners, end-users, and solution providers to ensure effective processes and tools.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• 40 hours/week

• Must Have: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field, plus six (6) years of IT experience including:

Up to 10% domestic travel required. Telecommuting up to twice per week permitted.
