My Client, who is located in Montgomery County, PA, is looking for a Sr. Structural Engineer. The right Candidate will perform structural analyses, design, and calculations. This includes the design and analyzing various materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, concrete & precast concrete, masonry & timber. You will manage multiple projects including engineering schedules & budget, performance, quality of engineering solutions & deliverables. Also, you will be responsible for supervising, developing, and assigning work to 1 Jr. Engineer and 1-2 CAD Designers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, required (Preferably in Civil, Structural or Mechanical)
• PE, required (if not in PA, must be able to obtain a PE licensure in PA)
• Minimum 8 years’ experience within this industry
• Required experience using AutoCAD and a Structural Analysis Tool (i.e. EnerCalc, RAM, RISA, STAAD)
• Experience using Revit, a plus
• Design / Analysis experience with Steel & Concrete materials, required
• Design / Analysis experience with Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Concrete & Precast Concrete, Masonry & Timber, a plus
• Experience in Commercial/Industrial, Education, Government, Healthcare, Municipal, Residential, sectors
• Minimal travel required (~2 hours from office), must have a valid drivers license, will walk around project site
• Excellent written & verbal skills

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems using AutoCAD and Revit to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and manage timelines effectively.
• Conduct geotechnical assessments and prepare detailed reports for project stakeholders.
