The US base salary range for this full-time position is $243,750 - $406,250, plus bonus eligibility and other elements of our total rewards package. Compensation is determined by location, skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, BNSF offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Position: Identity and Access Management Engineer

As an IAM Engineer, you will:

1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM systems to ensure secure and efficient access.
2. Manage user identities, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management.
3. Implement automation in access management and identity systems.
4. Enforce access controls and security policies to protect data and resources.
5. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
7. Perform audits and monitor IAM systems for security vulnerabilities.
8. Support IAM systems and resolve user access issues.
9. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Basic Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in IAM engineering with enterprise solutions.
• Experience with multiple IAM systems and technologies such as C, Java, LDAP, cloud services, and automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of integration, DevOps, and scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

• IAM certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of IAM-related technologies and systems such as OpenID Connect, FIDO2, REST, and enterprise RDBMS.
