Your Career

The Web Security Research team develops high-quality detection systems and ML/AI pipelines to prevent cyberattacks, focusing on malicious website and URL detection, browser security, and network security solutions.

Your Impact

• Design, develop, test, and deploy prevention and detection systems against modern web attacks to protect enterprise customers globally.
• Research and develop automated and ML/AI-powered solutions to identify malicious indicators used by websites and URLs.
• Leverage frontier technologies in ML and AI, along with other data-driven techniques.
• Implement and maintain complex software pipelines and data infrastructure with high performance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with threat researchers and other teams to gather requirements, design architecture, and document designs.
• Coordinate with QA and infrastructure teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Improve product development and release processes.
• Promote good software development practices and mentor team members in coding standards.

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Full-stack engineer capable of learning new programming languages and technologies to implement end-to-end solutions.
• Creative team player passionate about building complex systems within a research environment.
• Strong interest in Web Security and foundational cybersecurity knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning and experience applying ML pipelines.
• Experience with malicious URL detection and traffic analysis is a plus.
• Experience with crawling infrastructures, security scanners, browser security development, and extensions is a plus.
• Strong software architecture design skills.
• Advanced skills in Python, JavaScript, shell scripting; Golang is a plus.
• Knowledge of databases and big data tools (ELK, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), especially GCP technologies.
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, source control, and application security best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience; startup or open-source experience is a plus.

Compensation Disclosure
