Job Description Summary

This position involves working on highly complex projects requiring in-depth domain knowledge in two or more specialized areas. The role includes leading the modernization of secure development capabilities, enhancing security engagement and assessment functions, and partnering with the business to secure systems during development. The ideal candidate will have a strategic outlook and hands-on experience with the latest enterprise technologies.

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct multi-dimensional architectural assessments considering risk, data type, identity, control adherence, and threat models, providing recommendations and designs.
2. Collaborate with partners and leadership to define and maintain cyber infrastructure strategy.
3. Present concepts and plans that influence key cyber objectives.
4. Perform risk assessments on software and system architectures.
5. Advise on security tools, technologies, and capabilities.
6. Develop roadmaps and implementation plans aligning current and future states within a cohesive architecture.
7. Develop use cases and identify problems across teams.
8. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to support project development and operations.
9. Support execution teams by resolving roadblocks and managing interdependencies, working with external technical and functional teams.
10. Utilize a variety of security tools across diverse environments, with a broad understanding of solutions beyond specific vendors.
11. Provide cybersecurity guidance to organizational leaders and product teams.
12. Execute strategic technical programs as a senior team member.
13. Develop security policies, standards, and interpret regulatory controls.
14. Work independently and be self-directed as needed.
15. Focus on customer needs, build relationships, and partner with customers to shape initiatives.
16. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship within the domain.

Technical Expertise

• Experience with security architecture design and assessment of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Threat Models.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Model Development Life Cycle.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, OWASP, CIS, STIG, DFAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, or an Associate degree with 13 years, or a High School Diploma with 15 years.
• At least 7 years of experience in Cyber Security or Solutions Architecture.

Eligibility

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. No visa sponsorship is provided.
