Job Description

This position involves working on highly complex projects requiring in-depth domain knowledge in multiple specialized areas. You will lead the modernization of secure development capabilities, enhance security engagement and assessment functions, and collaborate directly with the business to secure systems during development. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and hands-on experience securing enterprise technologies.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform architectural assessments based on risk, data types, identity, control adherence, and threat models, providing recommendations and designs.
  2. Collaborate with partners and leadership to define and maintain cyber infrastructure strategies.
  3. Present concepts and plans that influence key cyber objectives.
  4. Conduct risk assessments on software and system architectures.
  5. Advise on security tools, technologies, and capabilities.
  6. Develop roadmaps and implementation plans aligning current and future states within a cohesive architecture.
  7. Review and develop use cases and problem statements across teams.
  8. Research emerging technologies and industry trends to support project development and operations.
  9. Support execution teams by resolving roadblocks and managing interdependencies, working with external technical and functional teams.
  10. Utilize a variety of security tools and technologies effectively across environments, with the technical depth to implement end-to-end solutions aligned with security architecture.
  11. Provide cybersecurity guidance to organizational leaders and product teams.
  12. Execute strategic technical programs as a senior team member.
  13. Develop security policies, standards, and interpret regulatory controls.
  14. Work independently and be self-directed as needed.
  15. Focus on customer needs, build strong relationships, and partner with customers to shape initiatives.
  16. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship within the domain.
Technical Expertise
  • Experience with security architecture design and assessment of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Threat Models.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Model Development Life Cycle.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, OWASP, CIS, STIG, DOD regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of professional experience, or an Associate’s with 13 years, or a High School Diploma with 15 years.
  • Minimum of 7 years in Cyber Security or Solutions Architecture.
Additional Information

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship is not available. Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.
