Job Description Summary

This position involves working on highly complex projects requiring in-depth domain knowledge in multiple specialized areas. The role includes leading the modernization of secure development capabilities, enhancing security engagement and assessment functions, and partnering with the business to secure systems during development. The ideal candidate will have a strategic, big-picture perspective combined with hands-on experience in securing enterprise technologies.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform multi-dimensional architectural assessments considering risk, data types, identity, data landing zones, control adherence, and threat models, to generate recommendations and designs.
2. Collaborate with functional partners and technology leadership to define and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure strategies.
3. Present concepts, ideas, and plans that influence key cybersecurity objectives.
4. Conduct risk assessments on software and system architectures.
5. Provide strategic guidance on security tools, technologies, and capabilities.
6. Design and develop roadmaps and implementation plans based on current and future architectural states.
7. Develop use cases and identify problems across teams.
8. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to support project development and operations.
9. Support execution teams by resolving roadblocks and managing interdependencies, partnering with external technical and functional teams as needed.
10. Utilize a variety of security tools and technologies across environments, with the technical depth to implement end-to-end solutions aligned with security architecture.
11. Provide cybersecurity guidance to organizational leaders and product teams.
12. Execute strategic technical programs as a senior team member.
13. Develop security policies, standards, and interpret regulatory controls.
14. Work independently and be self-directed when necessary.
15. Evaluate decisions from a customer perspective, build strong relationships, and partner with customers to shape future initiatives.
16. Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship within the domain.

Technical Expertise

• Experience with security architecture design and assessment of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Threat Models.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Model Development Life Cycle.
• Deep familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, OWASP, CIS, STIG, DFAR requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, or Associate’s degree with at least 13 years, or a High School Diploma with at least 15 years of experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in Cyber Security Architecture or Solutions Architecture.

Additional Information

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no sponsorship available.
• Desired candidates will have a degree in Computer Science or STEM, prior senior cybersecurity architecture experience, strong understanding of modern software and cloud architectures, and experience with strategic cybersecurity projects.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and consulting skills are essential.
