Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: North Dallas, TX (On-site)

Compensation: $24 – $36/hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in North Dallas. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a passion for financial accuracy and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and trend analysis, and be comfortable working in Excel and PDI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct trend and variance analysis to support financial reporting
• Utilize Excel and PDI to manage and analyze financial data
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Work with credit card transactions and fuel sales data (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 0–4 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PDI is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
