Job summary

Vizient, a leading healthcare group purchasing organization, seeks a strategic account leader to support the Regents of the University of California by driving contract utilization and implementing Vizient supply chain solutions.

You will partner with the Spend Executive and Category Management teams to translate data insights into cost savings and operational improvements, while mentoring colleagues and leading cross-functional initiatives within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in account management, category management, or healthcare supply chain.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and communicate insights to senior executives.
• Deep understanding of contract lifecycle management and performance optimization.
• Executive-level leadership, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce and analytics platforms preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and mentor team members.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Mentor team members while promoting standardization, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Summary

In this role, you will support the Regents of the University of California in delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare by driving contract utilization and implementing Vizient supply chain solutions. You will partner with the Vizient Spend Executive and Category Management team to align supply chain strategies with the client's organizational priorities, leveraging analytics, contract optimization, and Vizient resources to deliver measurable value through cost savings, contract penetration, and operational improvement.

• Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and influencing skills with executive-level presence.
• Experience leading organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce and analytics platforms preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and mentor team members.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
