Job summary

Vizient, Inc. invites you to join a role supporting south central clients in delivering high-quality, cost‑effective care by driving contract utilization and implementing Vizient supply chain solutions.

You will work closely with the Vizient Spend Executive and Category Management team to ensure alignment with clients' strategic goals, enabling measurable value through cost savings, contract penetration, and supply chain optimization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of account management, category management, or healthcare supply chain experience.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to facilitate discussions.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships across teams.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute client workplan and identify cost savings through analytics.
• Manage analytics and client coordination independently with metrics tracking.
• Build strong client relationships as main point of contact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Category Managers, SMEs, and Product Advisors.
• Interpret spend data using Vizient tools to evaluate trends and recommendations.
• Monitor utilization and drive contract performance aligned with workplan.
• Communicate with stakeholders to support adoption of solutions.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement and adapt to feedback.
• Address barriers and support measurable client outcomes.

Summary

In this role, you will supportour south central clientsin delivering high-quality, cost-effective care by driving contract utilization and implementing Vizient supply chain solutions. You will work closely with the Vizient Spend Executive and Category Management team to ensure alignment withour clients strategic goals, enabling measurable value through cost savings, contract penetration, and supply chain optimization. This role will support execution of theclientworkplan, leveraging Vizient tools, resources, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Executes theclientworkplan, applying analytical storytelling and data interpretation to identify cost savings and optimization opportunities.
• Manages analytics and client coordination activities independently, ensuring accurate tracking of performance metrics.
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships by serving as a key point of contact, addressing routine needs, and ensuring consistent communication that supports client goals and engagement.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Category Managers, SMEs, and Product Advisors to align strategies and implement initiatives.
• Interprets spend data using Vizient tools to evaluate trends and develop actionable recommendations for providers.
• Drives contract performance management by monitoring utilization, identifying tier optimization opportunities, and ensuring alignment with workplan objectives.
• Communicates effectively with stakeholders to support implementation and adoption of solutions.
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and change agility by adapting to feedback and evolving client needs.
• Applies problem-solving and critical thinking to address barriers and support measurable client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 2 or more years of experience in account management, category management, or healthcare supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and develop insights into actionable strategies.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships while collaborating across internal teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to facilitate productive discussions.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Demonstrated agility, organization, and ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.
• This position is Hybrid in Office 3 days a week.

Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
