Job summary

Genpact Sr. Specialist - S&P - Procurement Ops leads end-to-end procurement, from requisitions to PO creation and supplier delivery. You will ensure timely sourcing of goods, manage spend and enable contract compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll foster supplier relationships, drive cost savings, support strategic sourcing, PO tracking, and risk management while collaborating with finance, legal, and operations to optimize procurement across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree relevant to supply chain/ops.
• Experience with end-to-end procurement processes and supplier management.
• Knowledge of CPSM or ISM certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Procurement Management: manage requisition to PO creation and supplier delivery.
• Supplier Relationship Management: build relationships, monitor performance, resolve delivery/quality issues.
• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: identify suppliers, negotiate terms, drive cost savings.
• Contract Management: assist in drafting/reviewing procurement contracts and ensure compliance.
• Purchase Order & Documentation Management: create and track POs, maintain records per policy.
• Compliance & Risk Management: ensure activities meet policies and laws; mitigate risks.
• Vendor Onboarding & Evaluation: facilitate onboarding and due diligence, audits.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: align with finance/ops/legal, liaise between units and suppliers.
• Reporting & Analytics: prepare spend analyses and monitor procurement metrics.
• Process Improvement: identify automation opportunities and drive improvements.

Job Description

End-to-End Procurement Management

Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order creation and supplier delivery.

Ensure timely sourcing and procurement of goods and services in line with organizational requirements.

2. Supplier Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.

Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service.

3. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization

Support strategic sourcing initiatives by identifying potential suppliers and negotiating terms to achieve cost savings.

Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to drive procurement decisions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to consolidate spend and optimize procurement strategies.

4. Contract Management

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing procurement contracts and agreements.

Ensure contract compliance and renewals in coordination with legal teams.

5. Purchase Order & Documentation Management

Ensure accurate and timely creation and tracking of purchase orders.

Maintain procurement records and documentation as per company policies and audit requirements.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant laws and regulations.

Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.

7. Vendor Onboarding & Evaluation

Facilitate vendor onboarding and due diligence processes.

Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to assess compliance and performance.

8. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to align procurement activities with business needs.

Act as a liaison between business units and suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement processes.

9. Reporting & Analytics

Prepare procurement reports and spend analysis to support decision-making.

Monitor key procurement metrics and track cost-saving initiatives.

10. Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems.

Support implementation of procurement automation tools and digital solutions.
