Job Description
Working closely with the Marketing Communications Management, primary responsibilities include direct support and implementation of global tradeshows, events, and communication initiatives. As an integral part of the Marketing team, support the development and implementation of key marketing and event strategies. Partner with the Product Marketing, Sales, and Professional Education teams to help drive new customer engagement and expand the MicroVention brand. Job duties include:
- Leading the planning and execution of a wide range of events including national and international society tradeshows, symposiums, KOL meetings, and technology suites.
- Publishing and managing the yearly events schedule for Global, Domestic, Corporate, and MV Programs on WorkFront and required calendars.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams like PACE and Corporate Communications to ensure all deliverables and due dates are met while maintaining updated information details.
- Managing exhibit vendors and society organizers for planning and implementing trade shows.
- Fostering effective conference planning through cross-functional alignment, establishing communication channels, coordinating efforts, and analyzing attendee feedback.
- Building and maintaining CCN MV intranet pages for meeting information, tradeshow details, and relevant data.
- Tracking event invoices, submitting payments, and managing project RINGIs, ensuring expenses align with budgets and policies.
- Collaborating with Marketing and Communications teams to enhance social media engagement through event content and advertising strategies.
- Managing booth properties and assets, providing on-site support, and maintaining convention materials.
- Acting as a point of contact for global marketing, sharing information across regions, building international relationships, and supporting conferences.
- Performing additional duties as assigned, with or without direct reports.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and quality systems, demonstrating ethics and integrity throughout.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of professional marketing or corporate communications experience.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities independently and with attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Experience working in regulated healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong project management skills and cross-functional collaboration experience.
