• 2+ years of experience as a Swiss Programmer or Set-Up Machinist preferred.
• ISO quality standards understanding, documentation and implementation required.
• Experience with R&D and NPI is preferred.

Job description

Sr. Programmer, Swiss

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produces programs for machines to run high volume and R&D orders using Esprit-CAM software
• Set-up experience preferred but not required
• Reads and interprets hard copies and/or computerized drawings and specifications for parts
• Computes dimensions and tolerances. Uses geometric tolerances and interprets and applies those requirements to tooling and production parts
• Inspects completed components using CMM
• Troubleshoots quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions
• Have the ability to increase production and streamline set-ups for optimum efficiency and quality
• Have the ability to trouble shoot quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions
• Adherence and support of ISO 13485:2016 quality system requirements
• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
• Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of related experience working as a Swiss Programmer or Set-Up Machinist preferred
• Experience with Citizen and Tsugami required
• Experience with Esprit-CAM preferred
• Fundamental understanding quality systems, documentation, and implementation to ISO Standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016
• Experience with R&D and NPI is preferred
