Job description

Sr. Programmer, Swiss

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Produce programs for machines to run high volume and R&D orders using Esprit-CAM software.
2. Set-up experience preferred but not required.
3. Read and interpret hard copies and/or computerized drawings and specifications for parts.
4. Compute dimensions and tolerances, using geometric tolerances, and interpret and apply those requirements to tooling and production parts.
5. Inspect completed components using CMM.
6. Troubleshoot quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions.
7. Increase production and streamline set-ups for optimum efficiency and quality.
8. Support and adhere to ISO 13485:2016 quality system requirements.
9. Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
10. Demonstrate effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2+ years of related experience working as a Swiss Programmer or Set-Up Machinist preferred.
2. Experience with Citizen and Tsugami machines required.
3. Experience with Esprit-CAM preferred.
4. Fundamental understanding of quality systems, documentation, and implementation according to ISO Standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
5. Experience with R&D and NPI is preferred.
