About the Role
In this role, you will be accountable for the end-to-end product management process and strategy execution (including RSC strategy, networking strategy, and booking management strategy for all buying tracks) for the assigned fabric/product departments with suppliers.
What You'll Do
- Manage the fabric / product / vendor product management process in a timely manner to maintain SOP and cadence.
- Manage relationships with mills/vendors and support vendor allocation at COO/factory level along with overall capacity planning aligned to the networking strategy.
- Partner with mills/vendors to drive SOT from creating PO first thing right and ensuring superior quality while resolving any fabric/product and quality issues.
- Onboard new mills/vendors and provide training to existing ones. Proactively explore opportunities for continuous improvement in fabric/product/vendor management, process management, and overall strategic sourcing procedures.
- Develop communication and presentation skills to exchange complex information. Manage projects and program execution within the area of specialty and ensure quality of work.
Who You Are
- Merchandise sourcing and production management knowledge – experience in pre-production process and offshore production exposure in large-sized buying office or trading company.
- Planning & influencing – proven experience in planning, prioritizing, and influencing at all levels.
- Data-driven results – ability to analyze data to address situational issues and proactively suggest solutions to meet deliverables.
- Learning agility & experimentation – demonstrates eagerness to learn and explore new ways of approaching goals.
