Job Title: Sr Solution Architect (Category Management)

Location: Virtual within the US

Travel: Domestic travel is required for this role.

Overview

Blue Yonder is seeking a Solution Architect to join our Delivery Services team. Your focus will be to ensure customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Category Management solutions across the US and Canada. In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products, such as Strategic Assortment, Planogram Generator, and Micro/Macro Planning, and stay on the leading edge with our latest product innovations. You will act as the functional liaison across stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.

What You’ll Do

1. Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Retail Category Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies.
2. Apply domain knowledge to understand and identify how Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to meet customer requirements and business processes.
3. Lead solution design to ensure clear structure, validation tasks, and timelines.
4. Conduct and guide system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases to ensure a seamless transition.
5. Sustain a balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time-to-value and customer satisfaction.
6. Assess business needs outside standard solutions or scope, and evaluate integration complexity, architecture constraints, and product roadmaps.
7. Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers and projects.
8. Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer-specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 6-10 years of experience delivering Category Management solutions end-to-end in retail and manufacturing industries.
• Experience with the Blue Yonder Planning suite, including Clustering, Assortment, Micro, and Macro planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field is strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting design sessions, interpreting business requirements, mapping to retail solutions, system integration, and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Experience implementing solutions leveraging Cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

The average salary for this position is $115,000 - $143,000 USD. Salary ranges vary based on location, skills, experience, certifications, and other factors. This role may also include participation in performance bonus or commission programs.
