Overview

Blue Yonder is seeking a Solution Architect to join our Delivery Services team, focusing on ensuring customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Category Management solutions across the US and Canada.

This role involves designing best-in-class solutions using products such as Strategic Assortment, Planogram Generator, and Micro/Macro Planning, staying at the forefront of our latest product innovations.

You will serve as the functional liaison among stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the successful and timely delivery of solutions.

What You'll Do

1. Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Retail Category Management software solutions for customers, applying industry best practices and process methodologies.
2. Use domain knowledge to understand and identify how Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to meet customer requirements and business processes.
3. Lead solution design to ensure clear structure, validation tasks, and timelines.
4. Conduct or guide system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases to ensure a seamless transition to steady state operations.
5. Balance project scope, timeline, and requirements to achieve timely value delivery and customer satisfaction.
6. Assess business needs outside standard solutions or scope, considering integration complexity, architecture constraints, and product roadmaps.
7. Identify and highlight opportunities for incremental revenue with existing customers and projects.
8. Communicate business cases related to product functionality and enhancements to relevant teams.

What we are looking for

1. 6-10 years of experience delivering Category Management solutions end-to-end in retail and manufacturing industries.
2. Experience with the Blue Yonder Planning suite, including Clustering, Assortment, Micro, and Macro planning.
3. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
4. Experience in conducting design sessions, interpreting business requirements, system integration, user acceptance testing, and issue resolution.
5. Experience implementing solutions leveraging Cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
