Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems for mission-critical operations. You will apply SAFe Agile practices to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance applications and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications include 10+ years in software development, expertise in Python/Java/Go, microservices, DevSecOps, and distributed systems. Must hold TS/SCI with CI Polygraph and be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
• Deep understanding of microservices, containerization, and orchestration.
• Extensive experience with DevSecOps practices and toolchains.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience with distributed systems and message queuing (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical implementations.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must be located in NCR or San Antonio area.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
