Job summary

HireX Inc. in St. Louis is seeking a senior software engineer for a 1+ year contract with four days onsite per week. The role requires strong hands-on development experience and deep Java and Spring Boot expertise, with cloud engineering using AWS ECS/EKS, Lambda, and RDS/Aurora.

You should be comfortable with Angular and evolving micro-frontend architectures, and you will explore AI-enabled tools to boost productivity and outcomes. Interview will be conducted onsite within 50 miles of St. Louis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on hands-on development.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Experience in AWS Cloud, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Angular; familiarity with micro-frontend architecture (module federation) is a plus.
• Demonstrated comfort with AI-enabled tools, coupled with a willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies to improve productivity and business outcomes.
